Injectables with IUI

I have diminished ovarian reserve and this is my last month of clomid/femara before injectable meds. Today I picked up my gonal-f from the pharmacy, although hopefully I won't need it, but probably I will....

I only get three months of injectable meds paid for by my insurance for my lifetime, so I want it done right. I'm super worried about overstimulating my only 1 ovary, because I don't want to lose it and end up menopausal.

For those who have been through gonal-f and IUI, what do you think? Can it be successful when clomid and femara fail? I only get one mature follicle per cycle on clomid/femara, and not many immature ones. But apparently my AFC was 7 despite one ovary and AMH of 0.03. I am 36 and TTC #1.
