Diva cup? Looking for answers.

Has anyone used the Diva Cup? I started it last period (my SO actually recommended it because it is less toxic for your body then tampons). I like it for the most part, and haven't had many issues except this period I've gotten a few pains and cramping. When I take it out, the cramping goes away. anyone else experience that? ALSO! What on earth do you do when you have to empty it in a public bathroom?! I don't want to come out with any blood on my hands, and I need to rinse it before I put it back in... help! Haha
