There's a bridge in Scotland that has a scary history of dogs jumping off of it.  Most died from the 50 ft drop.  One report had a dog survive only to try again (sadly successfully)once he was brought back to the top.  They've attributed to dogs going after the scent of the male minx.  But locals have disputed this.  All I'm saying is it's possible.
