I’m 15 years old and i was currently diognosed with hypothyroidism. It all started when my heart was always beating fast. I went to a hospital to get it checked out and they said it was fine. But i went to my local pediatrician and took tests there. At first my TSH was 11. My doctor said it was a “glitch” in the system and NEVER GAVE ME MEDICINE!! I finally went back 2 months later and ran another test, it was 15. so finally another doctor gave me medication for it. but since i’m so young i have to wait till november to see and endocrinologist. My hypothyroidism is passed down through genetics. I feel so alone bc i don’t know anyone my age with this issue. :(
