Labia different after birth?

It's been almost a month since I delivered and I have yet to actually take a mirror and 'look' - I'm nervous!

However, just based on what I've noticed in the shower is that my inner labia are smaller. Not to get too graphic, but I was always very self conscious because my inner labia protruded past my outer labia and was almost wavy (from the excess) when looking at it in a mirror.

Now it's pretty much gone. All I can feel are two, very smooth, flaps that are about half the size of my outer labia. Nothing projects outward. I had a single stitch from birth, so I don't think that could have been the reason.

Has anyone else noticed this? I've tried googling and nada.
