How do you feel about places or people banning photos.
A little back story. I went to school for photography and graphic design so I know how important photos are they create art and memories and it is fun to take them. I'm no snob, I also take pictures of myself and things I see that I think are neat while walking around or something, however the other day my mil had her birthday part and everyone just had their phones out taking pictures. There wasn't suppose to be a professional photographer there or anything but in my opinion it takes away from the moment that you sometimes should just live in. Also in every pic all you see is each other holding phones up to their faces. I tried to take a video and that's all it was too. No one look like they were just enjoying themselves, they just wanted to post wherever so people could see what they were doing. Then I was thinking last year when I went to the NYS fair. It's packed already and you have to swim through people not paying attention, holding their phones, and taking selfies. I can't imagine what it's like going to Disney or any type of vacation place now a days. I have my gender reveal party for my family tomorrow and I asked that no one take pictures. I said I just want one of the cake and one of my boyfriend cutting it that I will take and then we can do a group photo and people acted like I was rude. I know it's for the family to find out but it's still my day I think. Anyway what do you guys think of the way people always take pictures of everything. Would you ban them for important events like weddings or would you have a problem with places like Disney.. fairs.. banning photos. Some places do but they're more like theaters and broadway. Or do you think we just gotta get over it cause that's the day and age we live in?
