Please no judgement!!!

Today I took my son (who is turning 2 in September) to Toys R Us. I made him pick any toy he wanted and he decided to pick a doll mermaid with really long pink hair. My son has this thing where he loves playing with hair and that's why he picked it. I was so nervous because in today's world you never know what people are going to say or think about it, but I decided for the first time as a first time mom that I didn't care. My son was so happy that you can see how excited he was about his new toy, his face just lighted up and he was telling me whatthe color of her hair was and he was kissing her. Anyways I paid for the mermaid and after went to get a car wash, he took his mermaid with him inside so I can pay. People were staring at him and then at me & I thought for sure someone was going to tell me off but instead this wonderful older lady came up to us & told me that I'm a good mom for making my son so happy. I wanted to cry so bad because there are good people out there who don't judge first time moms.
