Can you get the skyla iud if you ALREADY had a baby? I had my baby 6 weeks ago and that's the iud I'm interested in but someone told me it's only for women who haven't had a baby?

I JUST had this convo with my OB today lol, she said they generally recommend that IUD for women who haven't had a baby because it's smaller and less hormones, but you can still get it, she said she just personally recommended the mirena for those who have already had a baby so that's what I'll be going with!

I'm 5 weeks postpartum and plan on getting the Mirena Iud at my 6 week check up :)
