Need to rant about this. Went to a Christian Thrift store tonight, ended up with about 10 items and 2 pairs of shoes. Was adding it up in my head, came to about $40. Blue and red tickets were half price, I had 4 of them. They made a point of telling me that. There were 2 ladies serving, while one was ringing up my clothes the other was very talkative, by the end both were talking to me, they had my full attention. Finally she said $58.. I'm Thinking my math sucks? lol Then a gold plastic bangle for my daughter catches my eye for 25c. So she rings it up but somehow takes her time. Now both of them are talking to me, I couldnt keep up! Total comes to $63. Huh.. It was $58 a sec ago, $5 for a 25c bangle?' but I dont catch on to this until I leave the shop. I'm sitting in the car confused.. Did they just rip me off?? lol my husband said check the tags and receipt. Well she had taken all the price Tags off and no receipt. Even the 25c sticker was off!? At full price, it wouldn't have came to $63. Think I was ripped off in a Thrift store. Now I regret not going back in, but they were being so nice to me, was that they're plan? 😕😡
