Scientists Disprove Historical Event That Happened In The Bible

(This is not to bash others religions or beliefs I just thought it was very interesting)

This is a relatively open discussion but I do have a question.

With the advances in technology do you think there will ever become a point where the majority of the bible is disproved? Do you think it's right that today, we are disproving it, or do you think it should be left alone?
