Last time I try to be a responsible adult. My husband and I agree that we are done having kids. So he is going to get snipped. While we were figuring out when to do it, I decided to get an iud as a backup until then. Well I get it put in Friday afternoon and tonight I'm in the hospital. After having serious pain all day I reached my tipping point at 10 pm. On the floor bent over pain. My husband had been drinking and both of the kids were sleeping so we called an ambulance. After arriving at the hospital and having a full blown crying and yelling episode of pain the doctor's started running test. Apparently I'm worst case scenario of iud side effects. It happens 1 in 1000 of iud implants. My iud punctured my uterus and something else causing internal bleeding. I have to have surgery to remove the iud and fix whatever damage it caused. I'm currently getting blood (shout out to whomever donated!). Why is it always me....
