Does anyone feel this way?

Question

My husband and I have been TTC for two years. My last few periods have been late, so obviously I get my hopes up and then the next morning I spent 20 minutes in the bathroom crying and trying to tell myself that it will happen next month. 
I'm lost in a dark, deep, hole with no light and no way of escaping.......

I can relate.  2 losses after trying 1.5 years.  I was supposed to be due next month (lost baby at 20 weeks in April).  Now I am sitting here planning my next IUI cycle and praying with everything in me that I at least have the blessing of being pregnant this coming cycle so I can handle my due date without falling apart.  Praying myself through this and envisioning a happy healthy baby to come home with us soon.

I think people who have not been through it have no idea about how much of a failure every period makes you feel. People always have such shit to say like - well maybe if you'd only stop trying so hard it will happen!

We are in the same boat, trying for 2 years and I had a MC about a year ago. My husband is out of town this weekend, I was hoping for a BFP tomorrow but AF showed up today.  I spent a solid 20 min in tears in the bathroom, I can't make sense of any of it. Try to stay strong and positive, and know that you are not alone

I can definitely relate! My last two periods were late. The first was late 4 days and the second was late 9 days. That last one made me lose it. I was a total fucking mess. After trying for 4 years for baby #1 we just knew our time had finally come! When it came one O was at work and could barely get through the rest of the day. I got home and broke down and didn't want to leave the house for the whole weekend. My hubby keeps saying that it's a sign...the next period wont come at all. It's super hard to keep pushing through the rough days sometimes, but there is nothing like having a support system to help you recommit and keep trying! You are not alone. Keep the faith and baby dust to you😊

I completely understand...It's so hard to be positive. I have to keep reminding myself that there's a plan and to enjoy every moment. I tend to get too caught up in thinking too far into the future or being sad about where I thought I'd be at 32. But I'm actually exactly where I'm supposed to be and doing the best I can to enjoy life. Sending you positive thoughts and prayers.
