I went to a a routine appointment yesterday at 40+2. my babies amniotic fluid was measuring very low and I was sent to the hospital to be induced. I was checked and at 3cm on my own so I was started on pitocin right away. I was on pitocin for about 10+ hrs until they decided to stop it for the night to allow me rest. I was checked around 7:30am this morning and still at 3cm. took a shower had breakfast and started another round of pitocin around 9am. it is now almost 8pm. my pitocin is running at the max and has been for the past 5 hrs. I've been feeling and getting contractions about every 4 mins. however nothing strong enough. I'm so tired and frustrated I feel like crying. I've walked the halls, bounce on the birthing ball and still nothing. how long did you guys take to go into active labor and deliver your baby
