Cut down on sugar intake and balance your ph levels with a more alkaline diet meaning eat more vegetables and lean protein. Sugar is the fuel for yeast infections. BV is just a bacteria that some women carry. The only real treatment is antibiotics. My sister has tried everything and still gets BV regularly. Good luck.

PREVENT yeast infections with oral probiotics. They don't cure them, though. Use an anti-fungal to treat a yeast infection and antibiotics to treat BV. And please, for the love of god, don't stick any pills or garlic cloves in your vagina. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh also most OTC "treatments" like monistat have consistently resulted in me trying to scoop all of it out after 15 mins bc it feels like filling myself up with a mixture of bleach and drain cleaner. I've had prescription pills be effective but I can't remember the name, just that it was like $20 a pill 😑

I used to get yeast infections ALL THE TIME. I don't know if I'm overly fragile or if it only due to a careless lifestyle but it's been a thing since I've been like 18 (I'm 31 now). Basically anything will throw my pH balance out of whack. It's awesome.
The good thing is that with over 10 years of this bs now I know how to handle it and get them wayyy less often.  Whenever i've explained my routine to people they've looked at me like I was tripping but i'd take that over an itchy crotch a million times.
SO here's how I handle my needy delicate flower of a pussy:
NEVER :
- Wash it with anything else than feminine wash (summer's eve or vagisil do it for me), obviously only externally and make sure it's always rinsed out thoroughly. If I don't have it I just don't wash it. I always keep feminine wipes in my purse for that exact purpose.
- Douche. That shit is just evil. Last time I saw a doc for what I thought was BV but turned out to be a nasty YI he told me to douche, I wanted to slap him.
- Touch it / let anyone get close to it without being sure hands are clean. learned that one the hard way. Don't give a shit if it "kills the mood". Same for dicks. If it doesn't pass the inspection, BYE.
I wear exclusively cotton panties. No polyester, lace, spandex, etc. and certainly never thongs. Butthole bacteria and I are not the best of friends. (obviously I avoid anal like the plague but I just hate it anyway so whatever)
I freak the fuck out at the idea of getting into a swimming pool further than up to the knees. I usually blame that one on my inability to swim so I don't look like the queen of germaphobics. 
I religiously take probiotics every day. I actually started taking Yeast Gard last year and it's been a game changer. I have like 5 backup bottles stashed in my bathroom in case anything happens like WW3 or the company discontinuing it.
I think diet and a generally healthy lifestyle might have an impact but I'm an addict and a drunk with despicable eating habits, so I can't really say anything constructive about that besides don't drugs, drink 2 pints of vodka/day and eat essentially candy bars and Mac and cheese bc i'm pretty sure that does NOT help.
Damn that was long I just bored myself to death.

insert probiotic tablet into vagina at night until symptoms go away. Also everytime I've had a yeast infection, if I stick a clove of garlic up there, for three nights it goes away. I realize that sounds crazy but it works
