When to move baby to their room

Question

When is best time to move your Lo to their own room? Now my LO is 7 months and in our room. She sleeps through the night so I'm not worried about waking up. Looking for what other mamas do.

I waited until my son could be aware. At one year he got his own room

I waited 6 months and wish I would have done it way sooner because she slept a LOT better in her own room.

We moved him at 12 weeks for a few reasons. Do what you are comfortable with.

We won't be moving her until she's probably 12 months old. But we're in a little bit of a weird situation at the moment. My husbands about to start the process of transitioning out of the military next year and between now and then we have two or three small moves coming up. So we just don't see the point in setting up her nursery in multiple homes just to take it back down and move it all again a month or two later. So we're just going to wait until we're in our final, long term home next summer before we completely set up herb bedroom and put her in it 😊

the bassinet only lasted 3 months and then onto the pack and play. my son is 8 months old now and he's been sleeping in his own room for 2 weeks now. he's slept through the night for awhile now, it was an easy transition for him. maybe not as easy for me. but i put him in his bed with nothing in his crib and make sure there isnt anything to grab outside of his crib.

I'm not moving my baby too she out grows her bassinet. Once she dose that's when I'm moving her to a crib
