Finally here 😍😍😍

After keeping us waiting for 9 days, Quinn Rose Edwards finally came into the world last night. Unfortunately it wasn't the labour we thought we'd have or wanted but we're so happy that she's here - safe and healthy. I started getting contractions yesterday afternoon and despite being in the very early stages of labour, I became quite concerned about baby's movements and just felt something wasn't right. We went to the labour ward to be monitored, and it quickly became obvious that Quinn wasn't coping with the contractions and her heart rate kept decelerating below what is considered a safe threshold so the doctors advised us to have an emergency c section. So after only being on the labour ward for an hour, we were in theatre and Quinn was born just before 9pm weighing 8lb exactly. She's a little trooper and we're absolutely besotted with her already. 😍😍😍
