Hey guys.

So I jad sex for the first time since I got my Mirena IUD. My Gyno's nurse said I could have sex immediately with it in and be protected, but I would probably want to wait at least 24 hours because I would be uncomfortable after the IUD placement. Honestly, after a good 36 hours after getting it placed...I was ready to go. No more cramping and very light, brownish spotting was all I had. And the sex wasn't uncomfortable at all. About an hour after sex and this morning, I go to pee and wipe finding some bright red blood mixed with mucus.

I can still feel the strings, so I don't think anything is wrong. I'm not in pain. The bright red blood just kinda alarmed me. Anybody have a similar experience?
