Gestational difference by ethnicity

This study done in the UK found that black and Asian moms typically went into labour naturally and had fully matured babies earlier than white European mothers. The standard 40 week gestational period apply generally to white women but Asian and black women averaged out about 2 weeks earlier.

Is healthcare doing a disservice to women who are not white by not considering these facts? Do these facts get considered when making medical decisions like when to induce, but it's just not something that we really talk about and therefore are unaware?
