Today is my due date! At my last appointment (6 days ago) I was dilated 1-2cm, 50% effaced. The doc did a membrane sweep but nothing happened- she didn't really explain it well either! I am nervous about needing to be induced if things don't pick up... I am currently finishing summer semester of graduate school and have a final exam on august 8th- really hoping to either have the baby like now or wait until after that exam! The doc said we will consider induction if I'm still pregnant on the 7th. Any advice? I'm very scared about needing to be induced since it's related to increased medical interventions and potential complications.
