How did you find out you were pregnant?

Question

I want to hear some stories on how you ladies found out you were pregnant. How late were you for your period? Did have any symptoms? Did you feel pregnant or pee on the stick just knowing it would be negative again? I'm excitied to read your stories. :)

I was having some issues with my period 3 months before, to the point where the doctors thought I had cervical cancer. I hadn't gotten my period regularly and was convinced I wouldn't be able to have kids after 2 years of trying with my boyfriend. It was a hard pill to swallow and I had let go the idea of having children. 
I ended up going to the store for groceries and picked up a test just in case. That night, I just put aside thinking that my period would come soon. Two days later, I was at home with my puppy and my boyfriend was at work. I took the test and put it on the counter while I turned around to get my puppy away from the rug. Not even 2 minutes later, I turned around and saw the positive. I panicked since I didn't expect it and called my boyfriend who proceeded to happily calm me down and told me to call my mom and sister. When I told them,  they drove over immediately and made me take a second which was positive again. ❤️

So I half tried the month I got pregnant. Around 8dpo, I went to the gynecologist for my annual and to talk about some fertility meds(I'm blanking on the name atm). During my examination, I started spotting. I had noticed my cervix felt a little more sensitive when he stabbed. I've been having pap smears since I was 14 years old, I never spot. Apparently smears never hurt unless it comes to the device they use to open it up (blanking on that name as well, freaking pregnancy brain lol). So after the visit, the Dr sat me up and said "well, I think we will wait and I'll prescribe the medicine to you at our next visit." Now this doctor was know for giving fertility meds when you asked for them, so me thinking that was odd, I brushed it aside. A few days later, I started to experience extreme outburst of anger. It was quick and fast, I am never like that. I could have struck my husband if I didn't have such great self control. It was bad. I experienced that 3 times. Then came my missed period. Now I have been known to be late on my period and since I tracked mainly by cervical mucus and no other method, I thought meh, I just miscalculated my period, so I brushed it aside. Then my breasts started to ache so completely bad, that it felt like Satan himself was trying to claw his way out of them, never felt such extreme pain. Then I started researching and looking at my luteal phase patterns and found that I didn't miscalculate and I was now about 5 days late. So I took a test and bam it was positive!

I got pregnant on my second cycle of trying. I tested at 10 DPO but I noticed something different that didn't happen my 1st cycle. This second cycle I was having extremely watery CM from 6-10 DPO. So I decided to test at 10 DPO and BAM! I got my positive! I was so shocked and happy! I'm due April 1st❤️

A day before my expected period date, I was at TSA security check when something red colored activity was seen on the screen on left side of my stomach. The officials did a detailed check and let me go. Generally my period would start early in the morning. But this time there was no sight of it. so instead of looking for my sanitary napkin as everytime, I looked for Dollar tree pregnancy tests. and voila it was right away positive. I waited to visit my doctor for confirmation and was waiting eagerly to surprise my husband. when I told him the news he was like I knew it, you we're not moody that you had period and i thought TSA incident was related to you being pregnant. Too smart on his side, a big flop from my side for the surprise.

Hhmm with my 4 babies I didn't have a clue I was prego nothing BC everytime in the past or between kids I would swear I was prego and wasn't so each time me and my hubby would fight and first thing he would say is you know your pregnant and I would say hell naw I'm cramping which I was so I would let his words sit in the back of my mind and start wondering am I could I be and I would test and immediately get a positive each time call it father's intuition for real BC I always got my hopes up and never was but he was always right!

I got pregnant by accident tbh , wasn't trying but I guess you can say I wasn't doing all I could to prevent it . Had sex on a day I was ovulating , took a plan b the next day . I had a feeling it wouldn't work but I wasn't 100% sure . My period was 2 days late but I of course thought it was from the plan b but I decided to take a test for the hell of it and it came out postive !

I took a test 2 days before my period just to see if I needed to buy tampons. I took the test, let my dog outside and came back to throw the test away expecting it to be negative and it was positive! I was so excited to tell my husband because he was deploying two weeks after that!

We had been trying for months with no luck. Decided to go to Mexico on vacation. While in Mexico I missed my period. I never miss my period and am never even late so I thought I could be pregnant. I waited until I got home that Sunday am to test with fmu. Now my son is 2 and we are trying again!
