Officially started the pill 2 weeks ago and had sex tonight in full faith of it’s rumored mystical powers. My boyfriend of 2 years asked if he could cum inside me and in the moment I let him. I was comfortable about the decision at first. Why would two different doctors strongly recommend the pill to me if they didn’t trust it? But then he looked up if cumming inside was okay and wiki answers and those other question sites recited “its safe but  there’s always a chance” so I freaked out a little bit. Then I looked up the stats and saw that 1 :100 pill takers get pregnant a year. Freaked me out more. I guess my question is, in your experience, is the pill reliable? Do you let your partner cum in you and if so have you had any problems or concerns with it? Id honestly love to hear all of your experiences

When ever you start or change birth control it's suggested to wait a month and use back up contraption. Once your on a steady regime for birth control it's totally okay for them to cum in you.

Hi! For me it's all about personal preference. When I first starter taking bc six years ago, my doctor did tell me to wait a month before having unprotected sex (I get what you say about the packet stating it starts covering you after seven days, but my guess is that doctors give that big time frame so that your body can adjust to the hormone changes and be extra sure) - My boyfriend and I have always chosen to use condoms as well as my bc. This is our personal choice, something we do because we want to ensure the decrease in the possibility of getting pregnant. To be completely straightforward, he did finish once inside me, and there was no pregnancy. So always comes down to what you feel comfortable with, and if you trust your partner. Hope this helps!

When I went on the pill my doctor told me to use other protection for the first month. Then if the pill is taken correctly. Same time, daily, etc then it should be completely affective in avoiding pregnancy. You do have the chance because you didn't have that settling time from starting the pill. Can't sau for sure you are though. Also to answer your question, I let my SO cum inside and I am on the pill. Never had a problem myself.

I don't let my boyfriend cum inside me cause I just like to be extra careful. It's probably better to wait until you've been on the pill for at least a month and then cuming inside shouldn't be a problem but there is always a chance of pregnancy when you have sex whether you're on the pill or not.

When I was on the pill, I let my boyfriend cum inside me a few times. Nothing ever happened. You are safer if you are on a combination pill instead of a mini pill. I didn't even take mine at the same time every day.. One day I would take it at 11am and the next day i'd take it at 8pm and it didn't make a difference. As long as you aren't taking any other medications that can interfere with birth control pills, (such as anxiety meds, etc.,) you won't have to worry.

I've been here multiple times. Despite being on the pill for 4 months now. It's normal to get your freak out moments. In my experience I let my partner finish in me all the time. The pill itself works after 7 days of on time use. With my very first pack I let my partner finish in me after 8 days on the pill. Normally I did freak out but turned out to be fine. The pill does work and you have to learn to trust it. Which is scary but if you're taking in on time everyday theres nothing to worry about.  I do remember reading about the pill taking a month and even longer to take effect, however if you read your packet it'll most likely say to use a backup method for the first 7 days. The reason you might've read about the pill taking so long is because the actual hormones take a while to settle in with your body. What I mean is the first three months you might get your period on different dates. Because it's still regulating and adjusting to the new cycle. Based on my third pack I saw a consistency in my period with the second and third month. Just be on time with your pill, it's okay to forget sometimes just take it as soon as you remember. Don't freak out if you take it 30 minutes late. As long as its within the hour you're good to go.

My doctor told me for my specific pill to use a backup method for 7 days. The average persons effectiveness with the pill is 91% I think if taken correctly all the time it's like 96%. My last boyfriend came in me for a year while on the pill and no baby 👶🏽
