I was scheduled to be induced yesterday morning. I came in contracting on my own at 6 am, I didn't even notice them... they induced me at 10:05 am with pitocin, contractions got slightly stronger but not bad. at 1:30pm i was still 3cm dialated. they broke my water at 4:20ish pm, still 3 cm dialated. At 6pm, I was only 5 cm dialated, I got an epidural like 6:40 pm, the dr walked in to do it, by the time i laid down from getting taped up right after the dr did his thing, it didn't even kick in at all and I was pushing him out, no-one was ready but him. I had him at 6:58 pm and his handsome self was my biggest baby at 8lbs 15.8 oz and 20 inches long.
