Too soon after birth?

Question

Okay so, my MIL is getting married a week after my due date. She lives in a different state and my SO is in the wedding party. 
My MIL wants us to bring the baby to the wedding (if the baby is on time and everything is fine, of course.) 
The wedding is very small. (Only 60 people invited, so far less than 30 coming) 
Opinions? Suggestions? 
I'm a little worried about brining a newborn anywhere but my SO swears it'll be fine.

I personally would opt to stay home. I wouldn't want people in my newborns ace at only a week old. And you no people will hold the baby and then baby gets passed around.  I would send your SO and apologize just say too soon.

No no don't go . Didn't you watch on the news about the baby who passed away from a kiss. Don't expose your baby your MIL knew her grandbaby will be coming soon why does she do her wedding those dates. Just my opinion.

Not only would I not want my baby out around people that soon but you will still be recovering and if you have any stitches or anything you probably would want to stay home as well. I can't believe she would schedule her wedding that close to your due date and expect you to come!

I personally wouldn't go, let's say baby comes on due date, well then you'll be in the hospital for probably 2 days after that which means you'll only have a couple days at home before having to go. But most babies don't come on their due date so you also have the chance of going past that. I just really wouldn't want my brand new baby around people yet

I would stay home. You're still going to be sore and feeling yucky because of having birth. I would have your SO go but stay back with the baby and tell your MIL that she can meet the baby later on. 
Plus who knows who's going to be at the wedding and what cooties they'll have. I wouldn't want my brand new baby near that many people personally

Oh my gosh you'll be so exhausted! I wouldn't be trying to go anywhere yet. That's assuming that you're on time as well!

You may not want to go because you'll be healing and incredibly exhausted.  You need to rest as much as you can during that time to make sure you are healthy enough to take care of yourself and your baby.

No I wouldn't bring a baby to the wedding if you go on time and your baby is only a week old that is way way too young to be traveling and out In public. If you go early it really isn't that much older they will be so I would skip it and just have your SO go. 
You don't have to feel guilty about it either you are going to have a one week old baby or maybe 2 week old baby and that's not a good idea.

I would stay home. Too soon to travel with a baby and hell you are still healing too. If you really want to make sure ask your OB and a pediatrician. Baby will have no immunities at that point. Also if this is your first pregnancy you could be late. I'm afraid to even do Thanksgiving which is a week later from my due date which my hubbys family would be about the same size as that wedding.
