Advice for 1st Timer
Hey. I recently lost my first pregnancy. It was really early into it - 4 weeks and 4 days to be precise (according to the app lol).
Um, anyway...
Idk what to think. Or do. Or say. Or, most importantly, feel.
You see, we somehow managed to get pregnant with an IUD, and I was waiting for my doctor's appointment to get it removed. I had my blood work done, and I waited by the phone, white knuckled for the results - I'm sure many of you know the feeling lol.
I still haven't gotten them. Ha. Not that it matters much now.
It's strange to think that it all happened. The positive tests; the cravings; the buzzing in my stomach, and how it went suspiciously silent; the debates with my boyfriend on whether or not we should try to keep the baby should it come to it; and how we both realized how badly we wanted a baby between his watery eyes and my sobs.
So here I am, the next day, incapable of shaking this empty feeling.
What do you do when you're healing? How do you move on?
I knew this would happen, I mean I had an iud, and yet I'm STILL depressed! It could have been 4 months instead of weeks, which would have been far more horrifying, and yet here I am incapable of moving on.
