What does the hospital provide?

FTM here and wondering what the hospital will provide as far as items for baby and me? Is anything standard? I haven't packed my hospital bag yet, but I'm wondering if I need to bring things such as diapers, blankets, etc for baby? What about disposable underwear for me, or do they just provide thick pads? I've heard of the Fridababy Fridet, but does the hospital provide something to use instead for those sensitive first days? Just curious about what to expect. Thanks!

Alot of things you jut have to ask for. 
My hospital gave me multiple pairs of socks, 
They also had an ice pack to put on my stitched up privates! Omg did it feel wonderful! 😂😱
They also gave me numbing foam to dab on vagina for the stitches,
Squirt bottle to clean myself after bathroom,
A bunch of big pads, bed liners, and mesh underwear. 
A bag that had hospital logo on it for everything to go into. 
Blanket for baby
Hat for baby
Brush for baby
They gave me his little blood pressure cuff, which btw is so adorably teeny! 
They will give you a binky if you ask, but personally I hate those giant blue all rubber ones that everyone seems to use...

You should contact the hospital you're giving birth at and double check. But they usually have a small amount of diapers, big granny disposable underwear, a few pads, and baby blankets

Kaiser doesn't let you bring their blankets or baby shirts home because they reuse them. Hats, yes. They'll provide diapers and formula as needed during hospital stay. No diaper wipes either, but they'll have towels for you to wet and use. They usually have a nice little gift for you to take home...can't remember what's in it but for sure it includes a simple diaper bag that comes in handy. Ask for more disposable undies and pads for yourself before you check out. Bring a baby outfit or two including baby blanket.
