Endometriosis??

I've been having pain in my pelvic region for a whole week now, it feels like severe cramps and I'm not sure what it could be. I had the same thing happen about a month ago but thought it was maybe a stomach bug but now I'm feeling the same pain again but it's worse. I'm not sure if it would be endometriosis though because I'm on the birth control pill now and have been for 4 months for my irregular and super bad periods so I can't really tell... do you think maybe I should see my gyno and get it checked anyways?
