Had first midwife appointment today and have to say was a bit shit. Don't know if it's just because it's my first baby and duno what to expect but kinda thought there would be a bit more supportive and/or caring (maybe it was just this midwife) plus wasn't actually the midwife I am suppose to have as she was called to a home birth this morning. Just feel a bit shit about it all. As a first time Mum I feel like I've done these first 10 weeks all by myself with no help and now I have another 4 before I see my actual midwife. Don't feel having a couple of leaflets shoved at me is particularly helpful 😒
