When are you going back to work?

My maternity leave is quickly coming to an end. My baby girl was born June 11th. I have 5 weeks of time off left. I am seriously dreading going back. I love my job, but I don't want to miss out on my baby growing up. Who else is going back to work soon? How are you feeling?

My babes was born 6/8, I go back to work this Thursday. I am torn between excitement and sadness. I quickly learned being a SAHM is not for me. I don't know how ladies do it, it's much tougher than a regular job. However, I am sadden to know that I'll miss out on a lot. I am thankful she will be with family rather than a day care, but sad it's not with me.

My son was born on June 5th and I'll be going back to work June 2018. I live in Canada and we get 12-18mths of Mat Leave.

I'm the odd one out here, but my baby was born 6/5 and I went back Monday after 8 weeks off. Maybe it's because this is my second child, but it was easier going back this time (first is 18m old). It feels good to be back to work and getting into a "normal life" routine again.

I took 12 weeks as well. My daughter was born June 10th. My daughter goes to a home daycare part time now so I can work my part time job, but I'm not looking forward to going back to my full time job at all

My baby was born 6/6 and I just went back to work yesterday. It didn't really hit me yesterday (helped my husband watched him and took me to lunch) but today was ROUGH. I keep trying to remind myself it's better for him and me we both need to socialize. Love cuddling him when I get home.

My sweet Olivia was born 6/7 and I have 6 weeks left. I'm already dreading it. My husband was home with us for 8 weeks and just went back yesterday. That was hard enough now I have to prepare to leave her too and is going to kill me. Taking advantage of my time with her as much as possible.

I go back next week Friday. I will have to leave early too for baby's 2 month check up so for first day back being 5hrs on a Friday  (we don't work weekends) I'll take it. Not ready for the week after though. I can't afford to take all 12 weeks of leave 😢😢 I wish I could afford to be a stay at home mom but that is not possible either.

Babe was born June 23. I will go back at the end of this month. 😭 I don't want to but it just isn't possible for me to stay home. He is going to nd staying with my mom but it doesn't make it much easier on me. I don't want to miss out on anything. Picture taken at a month old.

My beautiful son was born 6/22, and I go back to work on Monday. And...I am struggling with mixed feelings. I am looking forward to being re-engaged with a job I really love. And I'm grateful that my husband will be staying at home with him, and we're able to have one parent with him full time. But I'm also having serious separation anxiety about being away from him, and worry about how he'll be soothed without the constant boob access he's become accustomed to. I'm afraid all three of us will melt down after a day!!! Good luck to all the working mommies!
