I am recovering from my natural miscarriage this weekend. I met with one of the midwives at the practice I chose. She suggested waiting for 2 weeks for intercourse and 2 periods after I stop bleeding to try again. I can kind of understand 2 weeks for intercourse, but I was kind of surprised by 2 periods; I expected her to say one because that I what I've heard on Glow community before. I'm considering asking for the opinions of the other midwives in the practice. What have you all heard from your healthcare providers? Are there risks associated with trying sooner? I really don't want to wait too long since I've heard you can be very fertile in the 3 months after and waiting 2+ months of that for 2 periods seems excessive.
