Asking for money to adopt?

I came across this post on Facebook and It was a couple asking for money to adopt a child.

I thought at first that they had struggled with infertility and didn't have the money to adopt. But then I read that they have 4 biological children, all boys. They wanted a girl and this would be their way of ensuring a girl? Idk. But then they said they have always wanted to adopt, even before getting married But they needed money to adopt her and made a gofundme.

It went viral and people are freaking the hell out on them?

Do you think its okay to ask for money to adopt?

I'm just glad someone wants to adopt. They seem like a great family and more people need to adopt. I hope they meet their goal and thought about donating and I just might.

People are just losing their shit because they asked for help and I don't understand.
