What do you guys feed the baby now?

Breakfast, lunch, dinner

My LO hates oatmeal or rice cereal in the morning, even with the apple puree. I'd have to mix a lot of apple in order to eat cereal. Do we have to feed cereal in morning or could be something else? Suggestion for breakfast is needed!!

Lunch has been fine with mix fruit/veggie

Dinner trying a chicken/rice puree still OK.

Check out baby led weaning. It's great for babies after 6 months. They eat what you eat!

I love baby led weaning. don't have to worry about mashing and pure ing my son eats everything has no teeth and he's over here chewing away. he loves to take bites out of my food.

Well apparently cheese does not sit well in her tummy. She cried all night. 😩

I actually got some improvement today! She wasn't eating puree so I was like why not try some cheese since she wasn't eating anyways and she grab it and ate it!

I cut it up into about 1cm squares... my LO is going through a thing right now where she will only eat things she can pick up herself 🙄 but she almost never chokes...

the bigger pieces is so she can pick them up, she does great, she gagged a bunch in the beginning but now she hardly ever gags. if there's a piece she can't chew she spits it out.

no big pieces so she can pick them up, as they get older they start using their pincher grip and then you cut them smaller!

We are still doing purees, breakfast lunch and dinner. I make my own so I currently have frozen 1oz chunks of BlueberryApplePearsSweet potatoPeasButternut squashCarrotsYellow squashZucchini &Banana Breakfast I try to do a 2-4 oz fruit combo with 1tbs oatmeal cereal added in, then lunch I do 2oz of a veggie or veggie/fruit combo, and dinner 2-4oz veggie combo and 1lbs rice cereal. I also let him snack on frozen fruits cheerios or baby puffs that dissolve. He's just now getting a tooth but gums them really well and I think the pressure feels good for him.

We do porridge in the morning mixed with breast milk - fruit puree of some kind for lunch with a couple of fruit puffs & something more substantial for dinner. Chicken & rice or spag Bol etc. I am interested in looking into baby lead weaning now she's older but I'm really nervous about the whole choking situation! Anyone have any advice?

I try to fed my son what I'm having. He gets a kick out of watching me eat it first and is more likely to eat more that way. Scrambled eggs and toast is a breakfast favorite of ours. We're doing blw and some mashed foods.

I try to do fruit mixes for morning and then I try to do veggies at night time before bed. I honestly haven't even tried the cereals

I tried this morning with oatmeal he liked it, but then I ended up just mixing the fruit in with it. 😆

I alternate between oatmeal with banana and egg with 1/2 the yolk and a little of his milk to get a purée.
