I don't know which is better. I think your doctor knows what's best for you. they didn't give me an option. I took clomid and got pregnant

I was on Metformin for 11 months and didnt ovulate. I took clomid three cycles and I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant after ovulating on only the third cycle. Clomid was great for us!

I think it depends. I'm not overweight and pretty sure insulin isn't my main issue. 
My primary symptom is the string of pearls, so Clomid would be best for me, to force eggdrops. 
I think some women take both. They treat different symptoms tho.
