D&C recovery question

Had a D&C; 2.5 weeks ago. Bled moderately to light for about 8 days, then spotted for maybe 2-3 then nothing for the past few days. Just started spotting again lightly about an hour ago. I'll also mention

I did get a vaginal bacterial infection from the surgery that I think progressed into a yeast infection. Some mild cramping today too mainly on my right side. Is it bad to stop bleeding and start up again this long after the surgery? Why can't this just be over :-(
