Monistat Help

I got the Monistat that cures your yeast infection in 3 days.. The package says to use the Monistat before bed but I wasn't thinking and used it a couple of hours ago. Since then I've been sitting up & not laying down. Does/will that affect the power of the Monistat? I have noticed a decent amount of the ointment come out but I'm not sure if that's typical regardless because this is the first time I'm using the 3 day version. Thanks for the help!!!
