Can teething make baby's sleep more?

I don't know about other babies but it sure as shit didn't make mine sleep more. Dude was sleeping through the night up until 2 weeks ago then started waking up 3-5 times a night. Has now acquired 1 tooth and the second one just breached this morning. Teething sucks. 😞

My son seems to be taking extra naps since he's been teething. I think the pain wears him out quite a bit. We just discovered that even though he won't use ANY teething toys, his pacifier is extremely soothing for him. I had my first peaceful day today after giving him his pacifier while he played. His first tooth just barely popped up a few days ago.

He's up a lot at night but has been taking wonderful day naps for the past couple days. I have been letting him nurse as often and for as long as he wants and that seems to be keeping him much calmer from the pain and then he can sleep.
