It's my due date today. I was so excited for my appointment. I thought for sure I was going to get some good news.

Instead I just got news that has made me literally cry on and off all day.

I was fine with being induced in a week if need be, but am so sad I only scored a 3 on the bishop scale. I'm not dilated at all, only 40% effaced, but baby and cervix are lower. The main thing was my cervix was still very firm. So if I make it to the induction date, I'm going to need medicine to soften the cervix first before they start using pitocin.

I feel like I'm just going to need a c section now and have lost all hope. Has anyone had this happen before and have had a successful vaginal delivery?
