I had a miscarriage last night where they ran my hcg levels and they were under 15900 at 8 weeks I had an ultrasound and baby was there just no heart beat. I wanted to know how long does hcg stay in your system

It depends on how far along you are and how long it takes you to pass everything. My doctor had me take pregnancy tests at home to make sure it was going down. Once I didn't see a line anymore she had me come in for a blood draw. It took a couple weeks.

First of all, I'm so sorry that you are going thru all of this. It is so hard!!  It took 9 weeks for mine to get below 2. My levels were over 15,000 at 5 weeks and I had a D&C; at 10 weeks. The baby only measured 8w1d. Hang in there. ❤️

I am sorry for your loss...It depends from every women. I miscarried naturally at 7weeks on the 30th of July and it was quick and everything came out at once. My hcg had already dropped a lot when I walk in the hospital, they were only at 1730 and in within 12 hours they dropped to 320. My obgyn said she wouldn't be surprise if I would be at zero on Monday...

It varies from woman to woman, pregnancy to pregnancy. My first miscarriage it took 5 weeks, second 8 weeks and my third took just 2.5weeks

So sorry for your loss!! I had an ectopic back in the beginning of October and they tracked my blood HCG levels weekly for 2 months until they were below 5
