So my husband finishes his bachelors in December, he is currently working with the army on his commissioning packet, and the board convenes in January. From experience in the commissioning world how soon after acceptance did your love one leave for OCS(is that what the army calls it??)

Also I know it's different for everyone but was there more specialized training after OCS? His background is in security management and his bachelors is in public safety/homeland security

We have a 9 month old and a dog, so we would be selling our house in January and I'd live with my parents while he is at OCS.

Also any love and tips would be greatly appreciated. We are in our late 20's and although the military has always been a part of the career conversation-to finally be going after it is so exiting and scary!
