I got a positive pregnancy result 6 days ago (Saturday) I had been having spotting since a week before my positive test. I took the test because I knew my bleeding was not like my normal period and my husband and I had a condom break on us and I took a plan b as we were not planning to have a second baby yet ( my daughter is 18 months). Well we went to the doctor Monday and the test there showed positive. I had a ultrasound because of the spotting and a slight concern of it being ectopic because of spotting and nothing was seen on ultrasound. I got hcg levels and it was 448. Was estimated to be 5 weeks based on last period. Got very bad cramps on right side, in back and on upper right leg on Tuesday. Called doctor and was told to come in as scheduled Wednesday to check hcg since I already had ultrasound and was too early to see anything. Spotting continued on and off with bright red spotting once on Tuesday. Got results on Wednesday and was told hcg dropped to 268 and that I am having a miscarriage. I have been having spotting/brownish discharge when I wipe for 13 days by now. Any hope or am I for sure miscarrying? This is the first time this has happened for me so I don't know what to expect. Will the bleeding increase? Will it hurt? I have so many mixed emotions right now : (
