How long did it take your HCG levels to be zero?

I had an ectopic pregnancy 6 weeks ago today and had the surgery. They were able to save my tube but it's obviously slightly scarred from everything.

However my HCG levels are still not at zero. They are dropping each week but taking forever. Its been 6 weeks and my HCG is at 87 today. At my surgery I had a HCG of 8800 but it's taking forever to lower.

How long did it take everyone's HCG level to be at zero?

I want it to be zero so I can finally reset my body and get my two "normal" periods before I can start trying again. The waiting is killing me.
