Best makeup primer?!

Question

My skin is super red and super oily so it's difficult to find a good primer for me. The only one I've found that works really well for me is the Laura Mercier primer but it's $38 and I don't have that to spend on primer 😭 
I've tried the elf color control primer but it makes my face super oily. 
Any recommendations, preferably under $20?!

I use Nivea men's aftershave balm. I've been using it for a while now and it never lets me down. I apply that all over my face, then I take some of Maybelline's baby skin pore eraser (apply it only on my pores and try to avoid t-zone because it can make it very oily), and once I'm done priming I use Rimmel's new Insta Fix & Go spray to set everything in place. All those products guarantee that my makeup stays in place until I take it off myself. Also make sure that any primer you're using, you dab into your skin as opposed to just slathering.

I was going to suggest elf lol but I guess I can see that if you have naturally oily skin as well. I've heard Studio Fix is good and Maybellinr Facestudio Master Prime is good, but I haven't used either.

Rimmel stay matte primer I've also heard great things about the Hard Candy primer they have one for oily skin I haven't tried it because I haven't been able to find it

this isn't a primer but i have the nastiest most disgusting oiliest skin on the planet . i've honestly tried everything and you'll never guess what finally helped my skin not be so greasy . OIL ! after i do my morning skin routine i put on the tiniest drop of vitamin E oil , a little goes such a long way and then i do it again at night !! it's helped me so much !!! and now i don't need as much setting powder throughout the day anymore !

I suggest investing in the St. Ive's Green Tea Scrub for your redness as well it reallt helped me + it clears blackheads.
For your oily skin I mixed rhe Maybelline Master Prime with the
*Stay Matte Primer 
this primer definetly gives you a matte finish! You'll notice once you apply your makeup, it stays matte throughout the day.
All of these primers & the face scrub are under $10.

Wet n wilds face primer. It's cheap, under 10 dollars,  and is amazing. I have skin that can be oily at one point and drier then the desert at another time.
