anyone ever given birth to 9 pounder ?

just curious who gave birth to a bit baby? how did it feel like?.  did it hurt a lot? Or did you tare open ? or anything adivce. my baby almost 9 pounds . I'm 37 and 2 days pregnant

I don't trust those estimates at all, or even call 9lbs big. 😂 I think anything less than 10 is an average sized baby! : ) My last was 8.10, my sisters first was 9.2. Any baby in my family has been over 8 and up to 11! My friends who weren't induced all had over 8 and up to 11lb babies as well. I think the medical version of birth induces so often that their idea of "average" is skewed at this point. I tore pretty good with my 8.10lb baby (natural home birth) and it was no big deal. You don't feel it when you tear Bc of all the pressure. Stitched me up and I waddled around for a few days just like the baby I DIDNT tear with I had before that. She was induced so only 6.12 and I gotta say, she was pretty SCRAWNY lookin! Lmao I'm hoping for at least a 9lber this time to beat my sister! Don't be scared of the weight at all, girl! Your vagina won't like you for a week or two whether the kid is 6lbs or 11! 😂

My friend did she had an epidural and didn't feel it but she had tearing and an episiotomy but she said it wasn't that bad and she would do it again lol

I had an 8,9 and 6 pounder my littlest did the most damage go figure 😒 never tore or been cut with my 2 oldest but ended up with stiches with my smallest and no my biggest babies didn't hurt I'm only 5'3 so if I can do it you got it

My mom is 5'2" and itty bitty. I was 9lb 2oz and she did it with no epidural. She said if she didn't already have three kids, it wouldn't have deterred her from having another. She had some tearing and I actually broke her tailbone a little bit but it wasn't a devastating amount of pain

I'm a ftm so  idk but I read online that it's easier to deliver a bigger baby because you're able to feel them travel down better

8.5 lbs but she was easy. Pushed for 45 min. Tore just a tiny bit, dr. said it was barely anything.

My son was 9 pounds 21 1/2 inches long. I had the epidural but did not get the full affect so I did feel some of it and they had to cut me. Definitely hurts

I did. my first daughter was 9 lbs 2 oz. I had to be induced because she would not come on her own. I had an episiotomy which freaking sucked and they used the vacumm. It was a long labor (22 hours start to finish) and I'm hoping not to go through that again with this little boy. at the end of the day it's doable.
