I said yes, but it is my opinion based on my own life experiences. I was 24 dating a 45yr old and we had fun and it was exciting but there is a world of difference in experiences between you. In my case, he was an emotionally unavailable man, which I guess shapes my thought. At 25, I was intelligent but even with a good head on my shoulders I was unable to see him for all he was. I would just recommend taking it slow and enjoying yourself. You can learn a lot from any relationship but especially from someone who has lived longer. Don't listen to a poll to decide if he is too old for you, live it and decide for yourself.

There's 18yrs between my husband and I. We have been happily married for 16yrs now. Just ask yourself one question. (Does he make you happy?) Nothing else really matters.

I'm 20 and my bf is 37. But when you see us vibing together, you'd never question our age. We've been together going on two years now and our age gap isn't really an issue for us. We can definitely laugh about it though because sometimes our generational differences are obvious, but it's not like a deal breaker or anything.

It's really all about maturity level. If you are both fine with the age gap - GREAT! If other people have a problem with it - that's THEIR problem. That said, it's really important for you to acknowledge the age gap too. My husband is 11 years older than me, I'm 38, he's 49. He's experienced a lot more than I have, but at the same time, I've been married once before and have a 16yo son. He's never been married and has no children, so there was an adjustment period for us. He lived the bachelor life for a long time (traveled wherever he wanted to, spent $ on whatever he wanted and really only had to look after himself) but has done a great job adjusting to family life. Be happy, and live one another! 😃❤️
