How long should you wait after going on the pill to have unprotected sex ? I went on the pill 6 days ago and I was just wondering how long does the pill usually take to go into effect 🤔

I think it's about a week, but my doc advised me to wait two weeks before going without condoms. Doesn't hurt to wait a few more days if you're hesitant.
