PCOS getting ready to try Clomid.
Hi ladies I just have a few questions. I'm hoping I can get some help here. Ok so my husband and I have been ttc for almost 4 years. I found out about a year and a half ago that I have PCOS. I was put on Metformin 500mg once a day. Which I still currently take. I see alot of women take much more than that. Should I ask about increasing the dosage? Also are there benefits to taking a higher dosage? Last month I had a 21 day progesterone done which showed no ovulation. They want me to go back on the 1st day of my cycle to have a ultrasound and check for cyst. (Which I know I have) I'm just wondering if someone can walk me through the process of starting Clomid. I mean if I have cysts does that mean I can't start Clomid? Also is going down this road going to be expensive? I know fertility treatment is very expensive. Is this considered the same thing? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Also I would love to hear anyones story who has had success with clomid and PCOS. Thanks for taking the time to read!!!
