Mis-gendering?

Question

Does anyone else get annoyed over others more or less mis-gendering their baby? People will sometimes assume my daughter is a boy because her carrier was blue or her onesie was blue/green/some other color they think is make associated...then I correct them and they continue calling her "him." It's starting to get annoying, just a bit. I corrected a few and told them that blue actually used to be considered a female color years ago.

I just think it's funny! My daughter will be in her carrier with her pink pacifier and blanket and still be called a boy! 🤣 Idk why people even have to mention gender if they don't know for sure. I always say, "Awe what a cute baby!" if I'm not sure.

This happens to me a lot because my little one is bald but we don't put silly bows in her hair or anything so when she's wearing white or a neutral colour people don't know. I don't really get annoyed, people are allowed to make mistakes. I just laugh and say her name or sometime correct them. There's no point getting annoyed about a mistake.

I'm have a black infant car seat with a pink toy bar and my baby girl always has a headband an bow on and I've been asked "what's his name?" "Is it a boy?" I kinda look at them like really? But try to be nice. 🙄 lol yep it's a boy but I decided to see how he looks in a bow and frilly pink clothing! 😁

When my daughter was a few weeks old I ordered food and when I opened the door with baby the delivery lady told me how cute my son is. I told her she is a girl and the lady got super upset saying I shouldn't let my daughter wear boys clothes and that this is the reason why gay people existed because parents don't know anymore how to get them right from the beginning - she only wore a plain white onesie - and I was like WTF?? I was so stunned I couldn't even respond!!! 
This doesn't happen anymore since my LO got her ears pierced, but there's just too many stupid people in this world, don't listen to them!!!

I don't care one bit. If it's a stranger, I go along with what ever gender they picked and try to end the conversation quickly because I don't like strangers gawking and asking personal questions anyway haha.

My son is 8 and people still think he's a girl. It doesn't bother him so I'm fine. He says well my hair is long and people just don't get it lol

My son is mistaken for a girl often, even in boy clothes because he has my red hair and huge blue eyes with the longest dark eyelashes, which he did not get from me. People tell me he is pretty all of the time but I don't let it get to me. When I was a baby i had no hair and even though my mom would dress me in pink dresses apparently I still was mistaken for a boy. Back then they did not have those cute head bands with bows they have now so she would scotch tape bows to my head! People just don't know what to say sometimes I think.

I do not care at all, because honestly babies have zero concept of gender right now. They all look like potatoes anyways.

I have my daughter in all pink at times and she still gets called a boy. I laugh about it later but it does annoy me when it happens.
