Is my 5 month old teething?

I'm a first time mom and I noticed my son would chew on his fingers and he's also been fussy which I understand is normal. Also is this normal? He doesn't like to stay in one place for too long for example when I lay him on his back after some time he would "demand" to be picked up.

I don't think that's necessarily signs of teething. My baby is like this, he's four months old and definitely not teething. It's just how babies are.

mine is 4.5 months and he's teething. no one would believe me until I would sho them his top and bottom gums. it's white, you can see where the teeth are, but they haven't poked through. I have a feeling by the end of this month one will pop out, but I dunno. two weeks ago he didn't have that at his 4 month check-up. mine has been drooling since he was a month old. this past week he's been crying all day long, waking up at night 3-4 times where he used to sleep 10-6 or 7. we already hit the 4 month sleep regression, but it could be back. but he's chomping away and you can tell he's in so much pain :(

my lo has been doing this for awhile, at her 4 month Appointment her doctor said she was teething, she'll be 5 months on sunday and still no teeth popping through 😔 shes miserable
