Parents shaming kids for having sex

This is not the path to take when dealing with a topic as sensitive as sex involving your teenager. Shaming them is not going to prevent the inevitable from happening. How about we teach safe sex instead? I'm not in any way telling you to encourage your child to have sex, but rather just inform them that they can be honest and open with you about it. Provide them with advice, get them on birth control, make sure condoms are being used!! As parents we need to do a better job at educating the youth rather than shaming them.
