Diva Cup with IUD?

I'm contemplating getting an IUD. I usually use a menstrual cup (more specifically the diva cup). wondering if anyone else does? are you able to use it with the IUD? can it cause problems with the IUDs positioning or what not?

You can use both! The IUD is much farther in. I use both and have for years!

I have had an IUD for 8 months and have used a cup for 3 years. I've never had a problem at all. I did check with my doctor before using my cup again because I was worried as well and she told me that it is totally fine and shouldn't cause any problems. Hope that helps!

It shouldn't. Depending on the iud you may not even have periods so there's that. 
Unless you suction cup it wrong then it shouldn't pull on the strings and dislodge it.
