Is teething the problem?

My son is 6 months and is teething I can feel one tooth trying to get its way through.

He has a good bedtime routine of bath, changed, bottle and bed. He goes to sleep on his own and will go down at 9pm and won't wake up until 8am. He may have moments when he moans because the dummy fell out but he will go back to sleep. I have noticed that recently he will wake up and won go back, I have to bring him into my bed and he will go back in which I then put him back in the cot. Now he is waking up in the early hours crying or sometimes just babbling to himself in the cot. He will chuck the dummy out and just moan and moan. I try most things of just putting the dummy back in, give him a bottle, tried to let him cry it out, bring him in my bed to get him back, sat by the cot or rocked him. I'm finding it very stressful at times as I'm tired. My partner does not live with me. He may stay but not good at night as he works night shifts. So at night I'm doing this on my own and then I have to manage getting through the day. Could this be down to his teething?
